Citrix Provisioning Server (PVS) Monitoring

Here are instructions for setting up the monitoring rules for Citrix Provisioning Server (PVS) that Goliath packaged into the technology. Depending on what you are looking to monitor custom monitoring rules can also be created as well.

1. Add the Citrix Provisioning Server(s) into Goliath (if they are not already) and install the agent.  See agent installation articles below.
   1. Agent Installation/Update via the Goliath Console
   2. Agent Installation/Update via Installer
2. Go to the Management - Monitors page in the Goliath interface
3. Click the menu button and then chose the submenu option Import/Export Rules.
   
4. In the dialog that opens, select Import.
5. Look for Citrix Provisioning Server, select it and click Import (keeping all other default options checked)
6. Wait about 2-3 mins and then go to Management - Groups
7. Edit the Citrix Provisioning Server Group and click the button for Add Servers.
8. Select your Citrix Provisioning Server(s) and then click Save.
9. These rules are now applied to your Citrix Provisioning Server(s) for monitoring only, but if you'd like you can then Configure Email and Text Alert Notifications
